Pasta is my most favorite food. It's easy to prepare, just toss in your favorite veggies, or meats, and you have a delicious, wholesome meal!
Here's a simple pasta recipe, using minimal ingredients, but producing great results! I hope you enjoy :)
Pasta Con Broccoli
Ingredients:
2 ounces dry pasta
1/2 cup cream
1 tablespoon butter
A dash of tomato sauce
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 cup broccoli florets
2 tablespoons fresh sliced mushrooms
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon grated Cheddar cheese
Method:
1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until "almost" done.
2. In a pan, heat the butter. Stir in garlic and fry for a few seconds.
3. Add the broccoli, and stir for a further 5 minutes.
4. Add the cream and tomato sauce (don't overdo the sauce, cause it may get too sweet otherwise)
5. Stir in sliced mushrooms, cook for 3 more minutes. Add in the pasta and remove from heat.
6. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
The ingredients will serve one, so you can double the amount for two :)
